About the WTE
Created during the summer of 2008, the WTE web site is a direct response to the need for knowledge and information exchange among the users of Washington's telehealth and telemedicine services and applications.
AWPHD commissioned a series of site assessment among its members to learn what the clinical, administrative and IT support staff need to be more savvy and adroit users of telehealth and telemedicine. One of the most requested resources is a user-centric web site. Another highly desired resource is an interconnection point among Washington's telehealth and telemedicine networks.
